We were really quite pleased with our stay here. We were met with warm greetings and the room was great... very home away from home-ish. We'll definitely make this our first choice when visiting this area again.
The one bedroom suite with kitchen and living area is laid out in a way that you never feel cramped with lots of storage areas and large dining/work table. The staff is very friendly and the free laundry room with 6 washers and 6 dryers made doing laundry for my husband and his work partner easily. The canteen is stocked with an array of drinks and snacks as well as toilitries and first aid preventing the need for any late night trips in the car. Already stocked with glass/dish/silverware and higher-end pots and pans along with dishwasher, 2 burner stove top, full refrigerator and overhead microwave as well as ample pantry space made preparing meals and cleanup simple in the open kitchen. The outdoor grill area makes up for the lack of an oven and provides social opportunities as well. This place feels like home away from home.
DO NOT GET A ROOM ON THE 3rd FLOOR IN THE HOT MONTHS!
Reasonably priced place to stay. Not as nice as some of the other local hotels. Good for a short stay.
The hotel itself was fairly nice. My room was clean and in in good shape. The elevator on the other hand, was very loud and shook my room every time it came to my floor. The elevator also did not display an inspection certificate which I believe is required. It seemed kid of sketchy. After my first ride up, I took the stairs for the remainder of my stay.
I stay at hotels weekly and either I give a 5 star or a 1 star. (Anything in between is average and nothing to write about.) But, if you get 1 star, you can bet your butt that I won't be patronizing your business ever again!
I was put on the 3rd floor when the weather outside was 90+ degrees this week. The problem is, the thermostats in the rooms have timers on them, and they know when you are in or out of the room. So, if you leave for a short while, the room heats up to absolutely terrible temps. Then, when you come back, the thermostat / air conditioning are not very strong. After the full night of the thermostat at 55 degrees, it still wasn't cool in the room in the morning.
